Northwest Iowa man questioned about missing student in the Dominican Republic cleared of any wrongdoing
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa (KTIV) - A judge has officially closed the case of a Northwest Iowa man who was questioned about the disappearance of a 20-year-old college student in the Dominican Republic.
Twenty-year-old Joshua Riibe of Rock Rapids was the last person to be seen on March 6 with missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki. He was questioned several times over a nearly two-week period before being allowed to leave the country, according to Fox News.

Riibe was not at the latest court hearing but it concludes an earlier ruling by the judge that allowed the St. Cloud State University senior to leave the Punta Cana Resort and return home to the Midwest.
Sudiksha’s parents have since said they believe their daughter drowned.
