Police said that two people, both from Nadur, were grievously injured during an argument on Sunday evening in Sannat.

The incident took place at around 8pm in an establishment in Triq Ta’ Cenc.

Police arrived on the scene to find a 33-year-old man from Nadur, with some injuries allegedly caused by a glass bottle. A medical team was called to the premises and they took the man to the Gozo General Hospital.

At the same time, the Police said that they were informed that earlier a 42-year old woman, from Nadur had also been admitted to hospital after being injured in the same argument.

Police said that both of them have been certified as having sustained grievous injuries.

Regarding the case, Police are speaking to a person to assist them while investigations are ongoing.
