Over this past weekend of Friday, May 10, Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, Indiana Beach officially opened its gates for the 2025 season, welcoming guests back for some nostalgic and classic lakeside amusement fun.

With the weather cooperating, the park sprang to life with plenty of warm sunshine, the faint sounds of joyful screams coming from the coasters, and the smell of fresh food like popcorn and hot dogs.

Some of the most popular attractions include the Hoosier Hurricane, the Giant Gondola, Steel Hawg, and especially the boardwalk which was buzzing with visitors enjoying sweet treats directly in front of Lake Shafer, taking in the beautiful views.

The most common sites to see during opening weekend were kids racing to play games and getting in lines for rides as well as enjoying delicious soft-serve ice cream, slushies, and other treats.

Indiana Beach hours for May are weekends only, open from 10am to 8pm for the main park, and 10am to 6pm at the water park.

Starting in June, the park will expand to their daily hours of 10am to 8pm on weekdays, and 10am to 9pm or 10pm on weekends, depending on what’s going on at the park at night.

For updated hours, ticket pricing, and event announcements, visit the park’s website at www.indianabeach.com or check out their pages on social media.

Indiana Beach’s 2025 season is off to a wonderfully fun-filled start, highlighting the combination of classic nostalgia and lakeside thrills.
