Renewable Energy and Power Launches New National Online Bidding Initiative with Initial $300,000 Contract Bid Submission

Bids for Clark County-wide and College of South Nevada LED contracts for thousands of LED’s

Las Vegas, NV, May 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Renewable Energy and Power (OTC:RBNW, or “REAP”), an LED lighting solutions company, today announced a new initiative to compete for contracts nationally online with its specialized line of innovative LED products.

The initial bids are for all public Clark County, Nevada LED lighting needs, and the exterior parking lighting for the College of South Nevada, totaling over 6,000 lights and accessories.

The Company offers unique value lighting solutions to its customers including customized low glare parking lights, and a specialized line of energy saving, long lasting and pleasant-light illumination products.

A recent example of value-add features is the completion of an Alameda, CA affordable housing parking lighting project that enhances safety while reducing scattered glare.

Nevada Government e-Marketplace, or NGEM, is the online bidding site for contracts with municipalities throughout the state.  New requests for municipal bids appear continually, and REAP will be bidding on any that require LED lighting, solar or wind power, the three areas in which the company operates.

The extensive preparation required to bid online through NGEM will now be applied to sites for state-centralized, municipal contracts throughout the country in a new initiative expected to significantly improve sales volume of our LED Lites USA subsidiary.

“The online bid sites for governmental bodies nationwide are a prime source of revenue producing contracts,” noted REAP CEO Donald MacIntyre. “We are now qualified to compete for contracts using online bidding, a capability which required considerable preparation and effort.”
